“You want the truth, or the answer you want?” I asked.

“I want the truth. Now give it to me.” she said annoyed, but also persuasively.

“Fine.” I felt compelled to tell her. “We’re here to save the people who used to live in my town. And so that led us here.”

“Nice, story.” she started. “But now that I know what your after, I’ll be gone now.” She started to leave. “See you in—” she was cut off by the closing door, although I could guess what she was going to say.

“We better run, it’s a trap.” Zeus said, also starting to leave.

“Why would you say that? There’s no way for a trap here. I have a feeling that the large cylinder

 

up ahead of us has my family and friends. Although I don’t know what the other two are. Either way, those cylinders look to thick and hard to break.” I said.

Right after that though, a figure covered in black cloth jumped out of a hole in the ceiling and took out two jagged-ended daggers. But all he…or she did was throw their knives at the cylinders, one per cylinder, and then left.

“See!” I said. “It’s hard enough to break through those!” that was when the two creatures in the smaller cylinders seemed to wake up, and the cylinders broke, dropping the knives, which the creatures stepped on, breaking the knives in two, and drawn their two swords.
