Often, they would talk about their work among mortals.  Cal would tell of pranks, both past and planned, while Imal would share tidbits of knowledge concerning computers.  Every now and again, Cal would write down something particularly interesting.  Though Imal would ask why he only found some of her words interesting enough to write down, Cal would only laugh and deflect her questions.

Once he gained enough information, he got to work.  He knew of many mortals wishing to take advantage of

the very information he possessed.  He counseled with Ebonee, goddess of nightmares and dark dreams, that she might grant such men the knowledge. Though such dreams were not truly nightmares, Ebonee’s disposition was more like his than was that of her sister Delphine, granter of fair dreams.  Loathe as she was to deny herself any opportunity to torment mortals as they slept, she acknowledged that Cal’s knowledge, in the right hands, would provide much mischief.
